Spohrer Dodd is pleased to announce that Attorney at Law Magazine shone the Litigation Spotlight on our very own Attorney Keith L. Maynard to discuss what drew him to his career in litigation and how he continues to find great meaning in his work. Attorney at Law Magazine is written for and about private practice attorneys, reporting on the legal industry, events, and notable firms and lawyers.
Under the Litigation Spotlight, Attorney Maynard told Attorney at Law Magazine how the challenge and impact of litigation drew him to his work as a litigator. He recognizes the importance of the cases he takes, which is why he applies all of his resources, knowledge, and skill to give his clients the best fighting chance in court.
“Our clients have suffered catastrophic losses. They want to tell their story and wait years for that opportunity,” Attorney Maynard told Attorney at Law Magazine. “Trial attorneys are often their last hope.”
He further explained how money is not our clients’ primary goal, rather, “They want the person or company that injured them or took their family member away to take responsibility and promise to do better.” As a result, the entire legal team at Spohrer Dodd holds accountability and prevention as two of our top priorities. Furthermore, as Attorney Maynard told Attorney at Law Magazine, our firm accepts a variety of cases to help an expansive scope of clients.
In 1993, Attorney Maynard began his service in the Maryland Army National Guard and was activated after 9/11. He went on to serve his country through his brave work in Operations Nobel Eagle and New Dawn. After 23 years of service, he retired while proudly holding the title of Major. He is very passionate about helping other veterans — specifically those who are struggling. Thus, he serves on the board of Five STAR Veterans Center in Jacksonville, an organization that assists struggling veterans in developing the skills and resources they need to adjust to civilian life.
At Spohrer Dodd, Attorney Maynard litigates cases concerning aviation law, products and premises liability, transportation accidents, insurance law and wrongful death. He has significantly contributed to our reputation for success. To date, we have won more than $1 billion in compensation for our clients and continue to advocate for those injured by medical malpractice and defective products, as well as in serious accidents. Our firm is home to attorneys recognized by Best Lawyers®, the Inner Circle of Advocates, Lawdragon 500, Super Lawyers®, and more.
