Spohrer Dodd Sponsors the Friends of Hendricks Walkathon

At Spohrer Dodd, we’re passionate about supporting our local communities, and ensuring that all children have the educational opportunities they deserve. Because of the great work done at Hendricks Avenue Elementary in Jacksonville, this year we decided to officially sponsor the Friends of Hendricks Walkathon, to help raise crucial funding for this incredible local school.

Hosted by the non-profit Friends of Hendricks organization on February 23^rd, 2019, the walkathon was open to children from grades K-5, as well as their parents and community sponsors and organizers. Setting a school-wide goal to walk over 750 miles, the walkathon event also included a cupcake party, several pep rallies, fun challenges for the teachers, and an after school movie party for the kids.
