The Florida Legal Elite nomination process is incredibly rigorous and competitive by nature. The small percentage of lawyers who make the list need to exemplify a standard of professional excellence that warrants the respect and esteem of their peers.

Each year, members of the Florida Bar are asked to vote for attorneys they hold in the highest regard and would recommend to others. Prospective candidates are given a score based on the total number of votes they receive, with extra weight given to votes from outside their respective firms. A panel of former Legal Elite winners is responsible for reviewing the final list of candidates and making decisions based on each attorney’s membership status and career history.

This prestigious honor is only bestowed upon 1.2% of all Florida Bar members currently practicing throughout the state.
