As a professional meat cutter with over 30 years of industry experience, our client Danny Crawford was skilled at using dangerous meat-cutting equipment. In spite of this advanced knowledge, he still lost the lower part of his right arm on a commercial meat saw with an obsolete and dangerous guard design.

The saw was manufactured by ITW Food Equipment Group, LLC, and throughout the jury trial, our attorneys proved that this company failed to do basic research & development, and ignored government records of similar incidents. The jury concluded that ITW was negligent, and held the company partly responsible for Mr. Crawford’s preventable accident.
