The Spohrer Dodd team is excited to announce that Jennifer Heape, Robert Spohrer’s paralegal, was chosen by The Florida Bar Solo & Small Firm Section as their 2019 Paralegal of the Year!
Each year, the Solo & Small Firm Section of The Florida Bar selects a single paralegal for the Paralegal of the Year award. The organization specifies that paralegals chosen for the award must have “contributed significantly to the community and [their] law firm,” and demonstrated “above-and-beyond efforts in achieving a high standard of professionalism.” They also present a Mentor of the Year Award, Tradition of Excellence Award, and the Walter S. Crumbley Award for practice management.
Jennifer has worked as Robert Spohrer’s paralegal since 2011. She has over 20 years of experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse. She is a Florida Registered Paralegal, and serves in the Paralegal Association of Florida as the Treasurer for the Executive Board, and the First Vice President for the First Coast Chapter.
As a paralegal with Spohrer Dodd, Jennifer has mainly focused on plane crashes and other personal injury cases. She provides our team with her extensive trial experience and technological know-how, as well as her passion for assisting clients. She exemplifies the portrait of an excellent paralegal that the Solo & Small Firm Section of The Florida Bar aims to honor with the Paralegal of the Year award. This distinction is more than well-deserved. Congratulations Jennifer! Thank you for your years of exceptional work!
