Spohrer Dodd Sponsors 20th Annual Robert J. Beckham Equal Justice Awards

Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA) is a non-profit known for providing top-quality legal assistance to low income groups and those with special needs, with the goal of promoting more accessible advocacy for all. This year, Spohrer Dodd is proud to be an official sponsor for the 20^th Annual Robert J. Beckham Equal Justice Awards Celebration, which will raise funds to support the Jacksonville branch of JALA.

On September 18^th at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, JALA and its official sponsors will be hosting the awards celebration and presenting this year’s honoree with the prestigious Robert J. Beckham Equal Justice Award. Because of his advocacy efforts while serving as the chair of the Fourth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee, the now-retired Judge Hugh Alfred Carithers Jr. will be the honored recipient of the award for 2019.

As a designated “Partner in Justice” for the awards ceremony, Spohrer Dodd will be joined by The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic, as well as Harrell & Harrell and Attorney At Law Magazine. We are honored to participate in this important annual event once again, and we congratulate Judge Hugh Alfred Carithers Jr. for this recognition of his pro bono advocacy.
