Jennifer Heape is a Certified Paralegal, a Florida Registered Paralegal, and a member of the First Coast Chapter of The Paralegal Association of Florida. Heape’s legal career began 19 years ago when she started work at the State Attorney’s Office. Her vast legal knowledge includes work on cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, medical negligence, nursing home litigation and products liability. Heape feels this broad array of experience has helped prepare her for her current position.
Heape joined Spohrer & Dodd in the Fall of 2011 as paralegal for Robert F. Spohrer. Since joining the firm, her focus has been in the area of complex personal injury cases, including aviation crashes. Heape’s extensive experience as a trial paralegal also brings to the firm her knowledge of technology (including Powerpoint and Sanction software), as well as organization and presentation of exhibits at trial.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is working closely with the clients to help guide and support them through the legal process. She remains close with several clients she has helped over the years.
